Acquisition: Unearthed at the Chu state tomb, Xujialing, Xichuan, Henan in 1990 and subsequently acquired by the Henan Museum.  
  
With peculiar shape, exquisite craftsmanship, and well beset turquoises, this object is really rare in the archaeological finds in China. It is still in argument for its usage -- some say it was a drum holder, but others say it was used for hanging stone and jade chimes.
