Food vessel, inscribed with a character “fu” for its name. The vessel features a shallow basin-shaped vessel on the top with a flat everted rim, straight wall, and flat base, which is supported on a waisted column raised on a trumpet-shaped pedestal. The exterior of the basin is adorned with a band of goulianleiwen design, whilst the central waisted column and the pedestal are cast with openwork patterns of chui lin (lit. draping fish scales) and a band of ridges. The inside inscription states that Guo Ji commissioned the present Fu vessel, expressing the wish of his offspring cherishing it forever.
