Liubo, a popular game in theWarring States period and the Han Dynasty, got its name because sixchopsticks were used in the game. It was played by two persons, each with six pieces. During the game, chopsticks would be tossedfirst, and then the pieces would be moved according to the resultof the tossing of chopsticks. The goal was to take away all the sixpieces from the opponent eventually.
