Dou, food vessel, has deep belly,and it is mostly fitted with a lid. The body of the vessel isdecorated with copper and turquoise. The technique is called"inlaying technique", which refers to the technique of decoratingbronze objects by inlaying such metal wire or plaques as of gold,silver or copper, or turquoise, lacquer etc. into the groovesengraved on the surface of bronze. The technique was popular in theSpring and Autumn Period.
