Ingeniously crafted, the cup resembles a full bloom plum blossom, underneath are five florets, buds and twigs which function as support, the branch, along with a twig which is connected to the rim, forms the handle.

The metal processing craftsmanship was well developed in Ming dynasty, the shapes of the product surpassed all previous ages, the artisans excelled at embodying the natural elements on the daily utensils, in particular, the plates and cups, such as lotus and plum blossom, they were realistic, just like the real ones, displaying the ingenious designs and craftsmanship.
