Shan Jixiang, former president of Palace Museum, visited Henan Museum and talked about the " Power of the Culture" on Nov.10, 2019.

The platform of " the Civilized Centripetal and Cultural Root-vein " was held by Henan Museum , Culture and Tourism Department Henan province in Henan Museum on November 10, 2019. The theme was "the Power of Culture and Making the Cultural Heritage Resources Alive".

Song Liping, Secretary of the Party Group of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Henan Province, presided over the lecture. She said that through the research, Shan Jixiang was hired as a consultant by Culture and Tourism Department of Henan province.

Shan Jixiang said that "about the cultural heritage, protection is not the end, using is not the end either The real purpose is to inherit". Shan Jixiang also showed to the audience a lot of pictures in his courseware.

He also said that “A good museum is not a simple construction, not simple opening a large museum. A good museum must be a deep excavation of its cultural resources, a strong cultural force, and an attractive exhibition. A good museum must can make people feel the culture in real life around you and will walk to the museum and like to return and come again and again at the leisure time. ”

At the end of his report, Shan Jixiang said that since the opening in 1420, the Palace Museum has been built nearly for 600 years. It will have a brilliant 600-year-old birthday at 2020. And we will hand the magnificent Forbidden City completely to the next 600 years!
