The ceremony of “Ding and Prosperous China”Opens in Henan Museum on Sept. 27,2013.
 
About 18 museum’s top leaders coming from every where of China attended the opening ceremony. They were Mr. Shan Jixiang, Palace Museum director, Li Buoqian director of the SACH museum department, Chen Ailan Cultural Relics Bureau managing director, Taipei Museum of History Curator, Zhang Wenjun,the leader of Henan Museum and some other official leaders.
 
There were the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, Taipei Museum of History, Beijing University, the National Palace Museum, Shanghai Museum, Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences , Nanjing Museum, Shanghai Museum,Anhui Museum,Shandong Museum, Henan Museum, China Central Television and some other government agencies, news medias and museums.
 
Mr.Zhang Wenjun,the leader of Henan Museum made a welcome speech. He said that that bronzes were the symbol of spirit of the Chinese nation. They put down in writing Chanese history.
 
And Mr. Shan Jixiang, the top leader of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage gave an important speech at the opening ceremony. Mr.Shan said that “ Bronze Ding”were chosen being the theme of the exhibition. It fully demonstrated the exhibition having a distinct theme, a rich content. And he also said that Palace Museum maintained a wide and cooperative relationship with Henan Museum for many years. The two museums will keep on this relationship and take much more rich sumptuous cultural banquets for the majority of the visitor.
 
At last they cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition.
It was said that about 140 piece bronzes were showed in Henan Museum. Most of them were from Neolithic to Ming&Qing Period. They were all the national treasure bronze cultural relics comeing from all the 18 museums above.
 
It was said that this exhibition was jointly organized by Henan Museum and the School of Archaeology and Museology of Beijing University. It will be showed from Sept.27, 2013 to Jan. 5, 2014.
