Huaxia Orchestra of Henan Museum. presented a grandly situational melodrama --- the “Lantern Festival” in the middle of Feb. 2014.

The situational melodrama reproduced the poetry and beauty of Chinese traditional festival, the Lantern Festival.

This music drama included eight movements. They covered the meeting in the “Lantern Festival”, passing through many places, proposing, yearning between lovers, trysting in a clear and bright moonlit night, entering the bridal chamber, discharging red lanterns. The music drama integrated the ancient tune, poetry, accouterments and historical figures. Huaxia Orchestra of Henan Museum offered the audiences a sumptuous audio-visual banquet during the Lantern Festival.
