Dialogue between Nature and Humanity---Wash Painting Exhibition of Huang Guangnan and Xu Guohuang opened to the public in Henan Museum on Sept.28, 2017.

Many experts and leaders attended the opening ceremony. Liao Guiying, the president of Taipei Honeshee Art Foundation, Xu Guohuang, the researcher of Painting and Calligraphy Department of the Imperial Palace Museum Taipei, Tian Kai, director of Henan Cultural Relics Bureau, Ma Xiaolin, director of Henan Museum, the vast number of painting and calligraphy lovers and the circles of news media attended the opening ceremony too. The opening ceremony was chaired by Wan Jie the party secretary of Henan Museum.

The exhibition showed totally about 70 nice wash paintings both of Huang Guangnan and Xu Guohuang. The theme covered landscapes, flowers, birds, calligraphy, fans and so on.

Tian Kai said in his speech that this activity held by Henan Museum , Taipei Honeshee Art Foundation and Ji Chang Yuan Culture and Arts Foundation. This activity will enhance the cultural exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits. We can deeply appreciate the aesthetic taste of ink and wash painting and understand the connotation and achievements of ink painting in Taiwan area.

Ma Xiaolin, director of Henan Museum also made a speech. He said that we had abundant collection of painting and calligraphy resources in Henan Museum. Especially we had a lot of paintings and calligraphy collections of Ming, Qing and modern times. The exhibition not only carried forward the fine Chinese traditional culture but also was a continuous practice for Henan Museum as an important public cultural platform to improve public cultural services.
