The legends of Shaolin Temple come alive. It's an electrifying production staged by a song-and-dance troupe in Central China's Zhengzhou City. "Shaolin in the Wind," has earned over 12 million yuan or one-and-a-half million US dollars. In China, that's a smash hit.

The Zhenzhou Song and Dance Troupe came into being in March 2004 - with the production in mind. "Shaolin in the Wind," has been staged more than a hundred times, here in China and abroad.
The performance reaches into the Shaolin Temple legend, for a modern take on the wisdom of Buddhist teachings and the strength of marshal arts.

Audiences are enthusiastic, judging by ticket sales and by the number of performances booked ahead. The troupe will stage 800 performances in the next two years in America alone.
