Young students in the social activity of "Confessions of Ding"

On November 16 and 17, the final evaluation of "The first national top 10 social activities in museums" was held in Beijing. "Special museum tour - confessions of Ding" from Henan Museum stood out from total 30 social activities and won the "top 10" prize as the second place. This social activity not only showed the elegant appearances of tour guides from Henan Museum, but also represented a high-quality development of the museum education brand, meanwhile, this was a social practice in which museum educators carried out social activities and developed China's outstanding traditional culture with rich resources of cultural relics, in this way to meet people's increasing needs for a better life. 

Represented by "Confessions of Ding", all special guided tours are well-designed and carried out by Henan Museum relying on its collections. And these special tours are all conducted by chief museums guides, besides, both trans-boundary and digitization are implemented in the course design, during the social activity, museums tour guides give their course on the basis of traditional tour guide in the exhibition venues, and integrate field-training, in this way to give visitors a full immersion experience.

In addition, in the special museum tour of "confessions of Ding", Henan Museum designed the cartoon image "tiny Duling" based on one of its most precious treasure--"Bronze rectangular Ding excavated from Duling street", and it, as a virtual tour guide, expands the explanations by museum tour guides on the spot, which brings visitors who join the social activities a new experience, meanwhile it also gives life to the cultural relics.
