The annual conference of Museum Union Hakka Cultural 2018 holds in Luoyang on Oct. 25, 2018. More than 40 people from both sides of Taiwan Strait attended the conference on behalf of the member units of Hakka Heritage Museum Union and some related experts and scholars.

The conference was jointly organized by the Hakka Cultural Museum Union, Henan Museum and Luoyang Museum. This was a useful attempt in the field of Chinese museums. It has received great support from the Bureau of Cultural Relics of Henan Province and the Bureau of Cultural relics of Luoyang City.

Hakka Culture is an important part of Chinese culture. It has made a positive impact on museums. And it has been a great impetus function to redefine and construct the museum individualized combo.As the leading unit of the alliance, Henan Museum shouldered the leader’s responsibility of the first union.

Mr.Ma Xiaolin , the president of Hakka Cultural Museum Union and the top leader of Henan Museum said that Hakka Cultural Museum Union has gone for five years. With the strong support and promotion of the various members of the union, it developed and grew continually. And Ma Shaolin also said that we should put forward three suggestions. The first was that we should never forget why we started. We dedicated to inheriting and carrying forward Hakka history and culture. The second was that we should carry out the study of Hakka culture in various fields and many angles. The third was that we should make the use of new media and new technologies to continuously expand the channels of Hakka culture dissemination. 

Jia Lianmin, deputy director of the Bureau of Cultural Relics of Henan Province, said in his speech at the opening ceremony that Hakka Culture was an important part in Chinese Culture. Henan was the important source of Chinese traditional Culture too. It was the beginning of Heluo Culture. The culture of Heluo contributed to Hakka culture. The Union of Hakka Culture Museum was an important organization for the research and dissemination of Hakka culture. In recent years, in order to carry forward Hakka culture and unite the national centripetal force, we have played a positive role in promoting .

The report of the meeting was colorful. We not only probed deeply into the historical connotation of Hakka culture, but also tried to protect and utilize the Hakka cultural sites. And we also shared the practical cases of Hakka cultural Museum action in the context of super connection. These academic theories and practical achievements will undoubtedly play an important role in promoting the exchange and cooperation among the relevant museums and in promoting the development of the Hakka Museum Union.
