It was the Tenth Chinese Heritage Day on Jun.13, 2015. the theme this year was “Protecting the achievement and Enjoying Together”.

Li Boqian，the well-known archaeologist and the professor of Beijing University, Ms. Chen Ailan, the chief of Henan Cultural Relics Bureau and some other leaders and honored guest attended the ceremony.

Henan Museum held a series of activities to celebrate the Tenth Chinese Heritage Day. The museum held a special square display activity. The experts offered some free explaining about the cultural relics and the history of the central plains of China. There was a special lecture activity in the History Room too.Just that day, Huaxia Ancient Orchestr of Henan Museum celebrated the 15th anniversary of its founding. The performers showed a special large - scale concert freely that day to the Heritage Day.

Mr. Tiankai, the top leader of Henan Museum gave an important speech. Tiankai introduced that Huaxia Ancient Orchestr was founded fifteen years ago. All the ancient songs and dances the performers showed were the Intangible Cultural Heritage. These musics and performances showed and carried over the 5 thousand years Chinese civilization history.

Henan Museum also held an on-line competition activity about the culture and history knowledge of China. At last we held the award ceremony to the on-line participants coming from all parts of the country.
