The 22th General Conference of ICOM closed in Shanghai Expo Center on Nov. 12. It lasted for 6 days. Henan Museum won great honour at the 22th General Conference of ICOM.

“Shanghai Declaration” was passed at the conference. The aim of the declaration stressed on the musuem importance in the   multi-cultural communion.

Some 122 countries, states and international organizations came to the 22th General Conference of ICOM. More than 3360 museums registered at the conference.

Henan Museum won some honorable mentions on the multimedia and audio-visual at the 2010 International Cultural Heritage Gala in ShangHai. Such as“Zhang Heng Seismograph”, “Study Ancient Buildings Easily”and so on.

On account of distinguishing organization, Henan Museum was bracketed for the “Special Supporting Award”by the organizing committee of the 22th General Conference of ICOM at last.
