The Annual meeting 2019 on Museum Management Professional Committee of Chinese Museums Association opened in Zhengzhou on Oct. 25，2019.

The General Assembly was hosted by the National Museum of Museum Management. And it was co-sponsored by Henan Museum and Shanghai Museum. Nearly 100 representatives from more than 50 cultural and social institutions, universities and research institutions of all over the country attended the meeting.

An Laishun, Vice-President of the International Museum Association, Vice-President and Secretary-General of the Chinese  Museum Association, Song Liping, Secretary-General of the Party Group of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Henan Province, Tian Kai, Director of the Bureau of Cultural Relics of Henan Province, Yang Zhigang, Director of Shanghai Museum and the Management Committee of the Chinese Museum Association, Wan Jie, Secretary-General of the party committee of Henan Museum  and Li Feng, deputy Director of Shanghai Museum etc. attended the opening ceremony. The meeting was presided over by Ma Xiaolin, president of Henan Museum.

In that opening ceremony, An Laishun said that the management committee of the museum of Chinese Museum Association, as an academic platform for the study of museum management practice and theory, promoted the scientific and sustainable development of the museum. The symposium was to strengthen the cooperation between the museums and to contribute to the development of the Chinese museums with the "museum council, foundation and supervision mechanism; museum personnel, engineering management and other mechanism innovation, museum fine management" and so on.

Wan Jie, on behalf of the Henan Museum, said that the annual meeting was an important opportunity for Henan Museum to renew its service concept and improve its management level.

Then the participants were divided into three groups to discuss the issues of "Museum Council, Foundation and Supervision Mechanism; Museum Personnel, etc."

During the meeting, the participants also visited Henan Museums and Kangbaiwan Manor, a famous scenic spot of Henan.
