Central Plains of Elephant ——Henan History and Culture Exhibition opens in the National Museum on Dec. 30, 2015.This exhibition was jointly sponsored by the National Museum, the Department of culture of Henan Provincial, Bureau of cultural relics of Henan Provincial. And it was undertaken by Henan Museum.

Mr. Lu Zhangshen, the president of National Museum, Ms. Yang Liping, the head of the Department of culture Henan province, Mr. Tian Kai, the head of Henan Museum and some other related leaders attended the opening ceremony.

The Central Plains of Elephant was the theme of this exhibition. It covered four parts: homeland, searching for the roots, nature's engineering and the cultural context. This exhibition showed the Chinese history of civilization in 5000 years. And it took a fine New Year's cultural feast to the majority capital audience.

Totally, there were 105 pieces of choice cultural relics showed in the National Museum this time. They covered bronze, jade, porcelain, stone statues and some other sets. About 45% cultural relics belong to the national first level cultural relics.

After the opening ceremony, Huaxia Ancient Orchestra of Henan Museum showed a fine brilliant performance to the capital audience.

And it was side that the exhibition will last to Mar. 31, 2016.
