On the morning of Aug. 9, one group of 6 narrators from the National Museum, Beijing, arrived Henan Museum for one-month training, practicing, and exchanging. The leaders from Henan Museum extended a warm welcome to the group, and wished them a good stay in Henan Museum.   

  

Henan Museum paid a great importance to the group’s training and practicing, President Zhang Wenjun, and vice-presidents delivered a speech respectively for the group personally.

  

As a new exploration of the staff-training way, National Museum selected 6 narrators to come to Henan Museum for training and practicing, just before its opening of the new buildings. And this activity also drew the prologue of the co-operation between the two museums on the social service and education. Before long, President Zhang Wenjun and Secretary Huang Zhenchun, on behalf of the two sides, signed an agreement for the co-operation in many respects, including the social service and education. The two sides also expressed their willing to make exploration in the ways of co-operation.

  

To make sure the effect of the narrators’ training and practicing, Henan Museum made a special arrangement for them by highlighting the history and culture of the Central Plains. Some well- known specialists and archaeologists will be invited to make lectures for them. And visiting to other museums and historical sites in Henan has been planed for them.
