Mythical Animal-shaped object, the only artifact from Henan Museum, has been sent to the China Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo 2010 on Apr.8. There are two pieces of artifact from Henan province have been chosen for China pavilion, the other is a Xia Dynasty Archaic Bronze Jue with long spout (Ritual Wine Vessel, unearthed at Erlitou, Yanshi county, Luoyang), from Luoyang Museum.

The Mythical Animal-shaped object was unearthed in Chu  State tombs in Xichuan county in 1990. It is a Spring and Autumn period artifact, high 48 cm, decorated with monster mask and inlayed turquoises. For its usage, it is still in dispute.
