In order to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the Show of the Central Plains Ancient Jade opened ceremoniously in Kumul on Aug. 21, 2015.

This exhibition was jointly sponsored by Henan Provincial Department of Culture, the Administrative Office of Hami region, Henan Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics, Henan Museum and so on.

Some main officials coming from both sides of Henan and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region appeared on the opening ceremony.

Mr.Liu Jinshan and Ms. Yang Liping made a speech respectively on behalf of the both sides officials at the opening ceremony.

Mr.Tian Kai also briefly introduced the development history, collection and exhibition of Henan Museum to the guests.

This time, the exhibition was displayed totally 133 pieces of choice jade. The jades covered the etiquette, funeral, ornamental and the appreciation of the common sense of five parts. These choice jades reflected the Central Plains jade culture history development from different aspects.

It was side that this exhibition will last until Dec.20, 2015. These choice jades received very well by the local residents.
