In order to maintain the main hall, Henan Museum started a largest displacement of cultural relics in 6 years from July 11, 2015.

Each piece of cultural relics will vacate and move out of the main hall to the warehouse with the trolleys very carefully. More than 4000 pieces of the cultural relics will face the largest migration.

First of all, about 145 pieces competitive products were chosen from the cultural relics of the warehouse and then they were moved to the west building hall.

And then, there will be a largest displacement of cultural relics from the main hall to the warehouse in 6 years from July, 2015. It will last a few weeks.

Henan Museum held a press conference on July 7, 2015. The spokesman announced that the main exhibition hall will close maintenance on July 14 and the construction period will last 18 months.

At the same time, about 145 pieces of choiceness cultural relics were moved to the west building of the museum last weekend. These competitive cultural relics will keep on showing in the exhibition hall of the west building. The grand and special exhibition will open again to the public freely on July 14, 2015.
