More than 500 artists from 16 countries were invited to attend the Ankara International Music Festival. Totally they will show about 19 performances successively in April. Hua Xia Ancient Music Band was the only one Chinese music team which was invited to appear in the Ankara International Music Festival by the Organizing Committee of the Ankara International Music Festival.

The performers of Hua Xia Ancient Music Band presented a perfect visual feast for the audiences. They dressed in costumes of different historical period and combined with the central plains music reproduction unearthed cultural relics. Through the drum and song, the music depicted the Neolithic ancestors step for the festival. And they reappeared the Shang and Zhou dynasties temple worship.

Mehemt A.Basman, the chairman of the Organizing Committee of Ankara gave the honoured guests and performers a warm welcome. At last, the chairman made a high praise for all the performances.

Ms Li Hong, the vice president of Henan Museum and the regimental commander said that the Silk Road was a bridge which linked the Eurasian continent. And she also hoped that the event can inherit the culture between China and Turkey.
