Newly discovered "Bayerotrochus Philpopei" (Philippine rare shell) is shown to the media during the handing-over ceremony of a research project on marine species at the National Museum in Manila February 5, 2007. The Panglao Marine Biodiversity project, supported by the French government, resulted in the discovery of more than 1,200 species of decapod crustaceans and some 6,000 species of mollusks in the province of Bohol central Philippines.
