On the morning of May 18th, to celebrate International Museum Day, a thematic guided tour titled "A presentation in the Exhibition Hall: Exploring the wonderful lives of ancient people " was held in the main exhibition hall of Henan Museum.

The chief tour guide has planned and executed this presentation in accordance with the theme of International Museum Day: Museums, Sustainability, and a Better Life. During the guided tour, she led the audience to explore the origins of primitive agriculture in the Central Plains from different perspectives, appreciated the architectural artistry of the Han Dynasty, felt the lingering charm of Tang Dynasty attire, and sought the meaning of ancient people's lives through the integration of knowledge and action. This thematic tour differed from traditional gallery guided tour as it incorporated interactive Q&A sessions, displays of Tang Dynasty attire, poetry recitation, and other activities, which increased audience engagement and enhanced the experiential aspect.
