                The First Exhibition of Cultural relics Conservation Achievements Kicks off in Henan Museum.

The first exhibition of cultural relics conservation achievements (calligraphy and painting) kicked off in Henan Museum on Dec. 28, 2018.This exhibition was jointly sponsored by Henan Museum and Kaifeng Museum.

Tian Kai, director of the Bureau of Cultural Relics of Henan Province, Ma Xiaolin, president of Henan Museum and some other leaders and guests attended the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, Ma Xiaolin, president of Henan Museum said that this exhibition was based on the painting and calligraphy restoration project of Kaifeng Museum.

Henan Museum has begun to preserve and restore the calligraphy and painting heritage since July 2017. The staff totally restored 51 sets about 73 pieces. And they also trained of repairing technicians which entrusted by Kaifeng Museum several times. The whole job to restore the painting and calligraphy relics has been taken for 18 months by the two museums.

The exhibition will lasted from Dec. 29, 2018 to Jan. 13, 2019. All visitors can receive tickets for free visit with valid documents.
