The signing ceremony of the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement between Henan Airport Group and Henan Museum was held in Henan Airport Group on Dec.18, 2018.

Li Weidong, Party Secretary, Chairman and General Manager of Henan Airport Group, Ma Xiaolin, President of Henan Museum and many relevant leaders attended the signing ceremony.

Li Weidong said that as the window of Henan's reforming and opening up, Henan Airport Group provided strong support for economic and social development and building inland open highlands. While the group company was developing rapidly, it needed to give prominence to humanistic concern. Zhengzhou Airport tried to go to the world as a business card of Henan. 

He also said that Henan was a cultural province. Henan Museum was a well-known national museum with a concentrated load of the Central Plains culture. We tried to make good use of Henan's colorful collection of cultural relics and abundant resources of cultural experts, combined well with the concept of "cultural airport" construction of Henan Airport Group, jointly enriched the tourist experience and expand social and international influence. And we tried to make Zhengzhou International Airport to a new level of cultural taste.

Ma Shaolin said that As one of the first national and local museums built by the central and local governments, Henan Museum shouldered the important mission of showing Henan's rich history and inheriting the excellent Chinese culture. At home and abroad, there have been some successful examples of cooperation between large airports and museums. The strategic cooperation between Henan Museum and Henan Airport Group is a new development in which both sides would develop their advantages and learn from international advanced experience, better explore cross-border cooperation, expand service functions, seek strong alliances, and achieve mutual benefits. And it would be a bold attempt.

He also hoped that we could make reasonable use of the first-class public space of Zhengzhou Airport and the unique cultural talents and resources of Henan Museum, so that the majority of passengers could feel that here was a beautiful and memorable airport and more memorable Henan while they were at the airport and waited for the infinite charm from the traditional culture of the Central Plains. 

Subsequently, Li Weidong and Ma Xiaolin signed the “Framework Agreement for Strategic Cooperation between Henan Airport Group and Henan Museum” on behalf of Henan Airport Group and Henan Museum respectively. And donated the first batch of nearly 100 kinds of central plains cultural characteristic books of Henan Airport Group for Henan Museum.

After the signing ceremony, Li Weidong and Ma Xiaolin and others went to the check-in area of the departure hall of Zhengzhou Airport Terminal to watch the performance of the Huaxia Ancient Orchestra of Henan Museum.enan Museum.

The representatives of the two sides also inspected the public areas such as the waiting area of Zhengzhou International Airport and the VIP rooms.

 The responsible persons of both sides stated that they should act as soon as possible and implement the spirit of the strategic cooperation framework agreement, so that the central plains culture would shine in Zhengzhou International Airport.
