The Exhibition of Ancient Musical Relics of Central Plains Opened in Musical Instrument Museum of Phoenix United States.

There were over 159 pieces totally about 61 sets exquisite musical cultural relics from Henan exhibited in Musical Instrument Museum of Phoenix in the United States this time. The exquisites of musical relics were selected from about 170000 collections of Henan Museum. Among them, about 10 sets are one class cultural relics. The fine cultural relics will be involved in various important cultural stages and dynasties from prehistoric Pei Li Gang Culture to Ming and Qing Dynasties.

The fine cultural relics that were exhibited this time include pottery, porcelain, copper, jade, bone and so on. There was a bone flute about eight thousand years ago, a Tao Gu was five or six thousand years ago and some Kabuki dance musicians and images were about two thousand years ago. The exhibition explained the Central Plains as the key area of the origin and development of Chinese civilization from many angles. It also showed the profound influence of the development of Chinese ritual civilization in the past thousands of years.

The collections of musical instruments showed in Musical Instrument Museum Phoenix of United States are from more than 200 countries and regions. This museum is the largest musical instrument Museum in the world.

Zhang Deshui, vice president of Henan Museum said at the opening ceremony of the exhibition. He said that the exhibition was named at the Ancient Harmony of Henan Museum. It filled with great vital creative. The harmony represented melodious cooperation and friendship. This exhibition was a musical culture exchange and collision between China and west. The exchanges between museums in China and the United States will be more and more frequent. The cooperation between two museums and two countries will have a complete success in the future.

Being a special exhibition of the musical cultural relics, the exhibition aims to display and promote Chinese long history of the musical culture and enhance the musical and cultural exchanges between China and the United States.

Chinese Orchestra of Henan Museum performed some nice ancient music. The music were reappeared the charm of ancient Chinese music culture vividly. The performance brought the opening ceremony of the exhibition to a climax.

After the performance, over 200 related leaderships and many other local citizens visited the mystical exhibition coming from Henan China.

The exhibition will show from November 10, 2017 to May 6, 2018.
