 The Archaeological Unearthed Exhibition Huaiyang Pingliangtai Ruins opens in Henan Museum

The Archaeological Unearthed Achievement Exhibition Huaiyang Pingliangtai Ruins opened in Henan Museum on Nov. 15, 2017. The exhibition was supported by the State Bureau of cultural relics, Henan Provincial Department of Culture, Henan Provincial Bureau of cultural relics. It was jointly sponsored  by Henan Museum, Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and the People's Government of Huaiyang county. And the exhibition was hosted by Pingliangtai Ancient Ruins Museum.

Some relevant leaders appeared the opening ceremony. They were Gu Yucai, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the State Bureau of Cultural Relics, ang Liping, director general of Henan Provincial Culture Department, Tian Kai, director general of Henan Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics, Ma Xiaolin, President of Henan Museum and so on. Wan Jie, party secretary of Henan Museum presided over the opening ceremony.

There were all kinds of exquisite cultural relics of 140 groups more than 450 pieces showed in the exhibition. The exhibits included pottery, bone, stone, mussels, copper, jade and so on. Several kinds of ancient architectural charm cultural relics displayed Longshan Culture Pingliangtai over 4300 years ago.

Tian Kai made a speech at the opening ceremony. He said that Pingliangtai was promulgated as the third batch Cational Key Cultural Relics Protection Units by the State Council in 1988. The ancient prehistoric of Pingliangtai found especially for the study of China's Central Plains early national origin, the process of social complexity and bronze smelting technology provided precious material evidence.

Gu Yucai said in his speech that the Archaeological Unearthed Achievement Exhibition Huaiyang Pingliangtai Ruins was a concrete measure to implement the spirits of the Party of 19th CPC. The exhibition has been showcased the archaeological achievements of Pingliangtai Ruins for nearly 40 years. All the achievement items really made the cultural relics living up and made people enjoy the cultural achievements.

The Archaeological Unearthed Achievement Exhibition Huaiyang Pingliangtai Ruins will last to Dec. 15, 2017 in Henan Museum. The citizens can visit freely with your valid documents.
