Henan Museum holds series academic lectures.

In order to further improve the museum staffs’comprehensive competency and professional level, Henan Museum held series academic lectures.

Henan Museum invited Cai Qin, deputy director of Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Du Qiming, former deputy director of Henan Museum and Pang Yani, deputy director of Shaanxi History Museum to share a series of academic lectures. The academic lectures lasted from December 14 to 16, 2020.

Through a series of exhibition examples, Cai Qin expounded her idea about the “Multiple Times of Museum Exhibitions”. Miss Cai shared her thought of the museum's industry on the exhibition pattern of contemporary age museums. She also explained the "space (scene)", "theme (story)," “image” and other mixed coexistence way detailedly. At last, Miss Cai expounded that museums should adapt to the social needs and adjust the roles in the process of development.

Du Qiming, on his years’ research, introduced the historical significance and historical value of the ancient buildings stored in Henan Museum. Through a large number of the archaeological photos and reports, he analyzed the beauty of the artistic conception and structural of a number of representative collections. So, it made the museum staffs got a clearer understanding on the inheritance, protection, research and other sides of the ancient architecture.

Pang Yani, deputy director from the Shaanxi History Museum, described "Painted Pottery – China.” She related the "Painted Pottery • China" basing on the exhibition of Shaanxi History Museum. She also shared the museum's project of planning, implementation, team building, displayed content and form innovation, promotion publicity activities and so on.

After three days’ academic research learning, all the staffs of Henan Museum benefited a lot on exhibition method and Chinese great and splendid history. And at the same time, the activity also enhanced and improved the staffs’level on academic research.
