           Message from the audience

On May 2nd, over 20 hearing-impaired people were invited to Henan Museum to join the volunteer activity on "Yellow River culture" with the topic of "Yellow-glazed flat pot". They had a special Labor Day by "watching" the presentation by the volunteers, wearing Han Chinese clothing and enjoying the dance performance.

It began with welcome with sign languages by volunteers from Zhengzhou university of technology. Then the audiences were given a presentation on the story of the Silk Road. After that, volunteers offered a traditional dance show and invited the audiences to wear Han Chinese clothing to experience traditional etiquette. The audiences constantly expressed their happiness with thunderous applauses and various sign gestures.

The participants commented it was a successful activity and they would like to give a "thumb up" to the sign language volunteers!

With the service of the sign language volunteer team from Henan Museum, it makes it possible to "narrate" the glorious and splendid central plain' culture and Yellow River culture to hearing-impaired people, in this way to make contributions to the construction of no-barrier environment.
