A national convergence media research activity on the centenary of archaeology is launched in Henan Museum .

The national convergence media research activity of "Seeing Henan through the Thousand Years of Cultural Relics" was launched in Henan Museum on October 11, 2021. This event was co-organized by a number of cultural and museum units and some news media.  

 
The theme of this research activity is " Central Plains Archaeology :A Journey from the Civilization to country ", which aimed to implement President Xi Jinping's instruction on learning history and strengthening the dissemination of archaeological achievements and historical research achievements, to celebrate the birthday of modern archaeology in China and contribute to the construction of a socialist powerful cultural country.  

 
As the important parts of Chinese archaeology, the native of Henan has made remarkable achievements in archaeological work for the past few years. By the end of 2020, the total number of the Top Ten New Archaeological Discoveries in Henan that have been evaluated and selected over the years reached 49, ranking first in the country, which fully reflects the status of Henan's archaeological career，the status of a large province of cultural relics. 

During this event, from CCTV and 29 provinces and cities ,more than 60 editors, journalists, hosts will successively visit Henan Museum, the Gongyi Shuanghuaishu site, Anyang Yinxu Museum and Erlitou Site Museum of the Xia Capital and other places. They just want to find the thick history and culture of Henan archaeological sites and explore the origin of Chinese civilization. 

At the same time, the radio journalists from all over the country will give full play to the advantages of integrated media and go deep into the grassroots and frontline. They will use their microphones, cameras, mobile phones and other means to publicize and report Henan new look on the excavation and protection of cultural relics, the archaeological achievements, the integration of cultural and tourism development and many other aspects.
