the opening site of the first training course on the restoration and protection of movable (metal) cultural relics of the Yellow River Valley Museum

A total of 19 trainees from member units of the Yellow River Valley Museum alliance participated in the training.

"The first training course on the restoration and protection of movable (metal) cultural relics of the Yellow River Valley Museum" opened in the training classroom of the cultural protection building of Henan Museum on the morning of October 11. The training course was hosted by the Yellow River Valley Museum alliance and Henan Museum, and undertaken by the key scientific research base for metal cultural relics protection of Henan Provincial Administration of Cultural Heritage. Leaders and experts attended the opening ceremony and delivered  speeches. A total of 19 trainees participated in the training and they come from member units of the Yellow River Valley Museum alliance.

Wan Jie, secretary of the Party committee of Henan Museum, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He said that the purpose of holding this training course is to effectively improve the professional level of cultural relics protection and restoration, broaden vision and accumulate experience. Through training and communication, we can jointly improve the protection efficiency of movable cultural relics along the Yellow River Valley, and protect, inherit and carry forward the rich cultural heritage and excellent traditional culture.

The training course lasts for 25 days from October 10 to November 3. It mainly includes five modules: classroom teaching of famous teachers, discussion between teachers and students, on-site observation and hands-on training of students, display and exchange of learning results and completion assessment. Through professional theoretical study, case discussion, investigation and exchange and practical guidance, we will help cultural relics restoration technicians solve the application problems of protection technology and cultivate backbone talents for movable cultural relics protection.
