It was the 59th active day "Learning from Lei Feng Volunteer Day" on March 5, 2022.  Lei Feng, the legendary People's Liberation Army soldier, was known by his selflessness and devotion to the country. The representatives of Party members and cultural volunteers from many institutions in Henan gathered at Henan Museum. 

After the opening ceremony, they visited the “Red” Exhibition, participated in the voluntary tour guiding, sang the songs of lei Feng, and carried forward the spirit of volunteering. Under the theme of the "Red Descendants in the New Era", the first volunteer service was jointly carried out.  

Ding Fuli, deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Henan Museum, delivered a speech. He said that with the strong support of the Museum Party Committee and the efforts of several generations, the volunteer team of Henan Museum has always been at the forefront of the country in terms of the team size, service categories, service quality, social influence, honors and awards. Through the volunteer service, it has attracted more and more units and individuals from all walks of life to join the volunteer team.  

At the ceremony, Ding Fuli also awarded each volunteer a badge and a ribbon of the volunteer. After the ceremony, 6 volunteers led the participants to have a visiting and learning, listening to the volunteer’s guiding, many audiences were very excited and said that "This activity is great, and we really get much and make a deep impressive! The volunteers also tell us the heroic deeds of the revolutionary predecessors and carry forward the red culture and interpret the volunteers’ spirits in the new era with their practical actions."
