On March 18, Henan Museum held the Conference on full and strict governance over the Party to summarize the work of strict governance 2021 and deployed the major tasks for 2022.  

In 2021, Henan Museum has been adhering to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, take the political construction of the Party as the guiding, celebrate the centenary of the Party founding and carry out the study and education of the Party's history as the main line, promote the party's construction to achieve new progress and achievements, and the museum to achieve new heights. 

The meeting stressed that 2022 will be a key year to the executive the 14th Five-Year Plan, an important year to push forward the high-quality development and carry out the integration between the cultural tourism and the creative industries. Henan Museum will continue to promote the overall strict governance of the Party, focus on the propaganda and implementation of the Spirit of the 20th Conference as the main line, "Capacity and Style Building Year" as the theme, promote high-quality development, the construction of the new museum, the strategy of the integration between the cultural tourism and the cultural creative industries, and actively create the brand of "Walking in Henan • Understanding China".  

With the title of "High-quality Party Construction leading and promoting Development of Cultural and Museum Industries", around party construction and career development, Wan Jie pointed out that the high-quality development was on putting the people first, with greater macro stability, competitive development for social (enterprise) entities, innovation-driven development, market-oriented, law-based and internationalized development, green development with ecology first. He also stressed that we should promote the high-quality development just on improving six capabilities.  

First, we should improve political ability, including our political judgment, understanding and execution ability, strengthen political experience, and remain politically "enlightened" and "honest". Second, we need to focus on improving professional competence, strengthen the professional thinking, spirit, methods, and cultivate professional quality, ability and leadership skills that will be suitable for the world first class museums. Third, we need to improve the people's ability to work, build a mind on people-centered, strengthen the sense of purpose, take the masses' thoughts and expectations as the working guide, and do practical and good things for the audience and staff with high quality. Fourth, we need to improve our innovation capacity, insist on innovating and break through, maintain the spirit of forging ahead. Fifth, we need to enhance our ability to manage risks, improve our capacity driving the potential dangers and risks, enhance the risk prevention mechanisms, and have more knowledgeable, courageous, and capable of responding to the emergencies. Sixth, we need to improve our ability to run clean government, continue carrying out our self-reform, keep the beginner's mind of our mission, build a mental dam of the eight regulations, strengthen enforcement the oversight and discipline and standardize the exercise of our power.
