Wang Xikun calligraphy works exhibition was held on May 21,2010 in Henan museum.

Mr. Wang Xikuen was born in Donggong county，Hebei province. He began to practise calligraphy from 1950’s. He once practiced official script, regular script and a cursive hand etc. He was apprenticed to masters Shen Peng and Zhang Rongsheng who were famous calligrapher of China. At last he formed his own calligraphy style step by step. Such as: trenchant, glidingly, unvarnished.

He was awarded the talent and reputation artist of both sides across the Straits in 1999 and he won the honorary title of the modern elite artist in 2002.
