At the beginning of 2021, in order to keep on the prevention and control of the coronavirus, the State Council issued the proposal of "Do not return home if unnecessary. During the lunar New Year holiday, in addition to the permanent exhibition of Henan Museum “A Great Civilization Rises with Capitals Established in the Central Plain”, special exhibition " Ming and Qing Dynasties of Henan ", "Bronze Art Chu Dynasty of the Central Plains", " Museum Treasures Exhibition Ming and Qing Dynasties", “National Treasures Exhibition", "Ancient Stone Art Carving of the Central Plains", “Special Exhibition of the National Treasures” , Henan Museum also had a unique temporary exhibition "Lu Xun’s World of Art " and " New Year of the Ox Exhibition --- Chinese Zodiac Relics Pictures ".

In terms of the Social and Educational activities, Henan Museum has arranged a variety of activities for the visitors, including the museum treasure hunting and a demonstration of cultural relic’s restoration. Huaxia Ancient Orchestra Group will also give a series special New Year Concert.

About the cultural creation, Henan Museum has launched a activity limiting edition of the Archaeological Blind Boxes of the New Year. Through a combination online and offline approaches, people can take home their exquisite and interesting "cultural ambassadors---Archaeological Blind Boxes".

In addition, according to the requirements of the prevention and control COVID-19, Henan Museum has also launched some other activities during the Spring Festival.
