On the morning of Apr.11 2009, "100 Cities Tourism Promotion Week"  startup ceremony held in Henan Museum.  

     On the ceremony, Mr.Wang Zhifa, vice-president of the National Tourism Administration, Ms.Kong Yufang, vice-governor of Henan province, beat the startup drum, inviting sincerely the guests from all over the world for enjoying the beautiful sceneries of Henan Province, which is one of the original areas of Chinese civilization.  

     The promotion was sponsored by China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) and co-sponsored by the provincial tourism bureaus.

     Supervised by CNTA and supported by local tourism bureaus, the promotion campaign of “100 Cities Tourism Promotion Week” was launched simultaneously in 186 cities throughout the country on April 11.

     The major sites in Henan province was located in Henan Museum, and other 8 places were in Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Kaifeng, Anyang, Shangqiu, Nanyang cities. The campaign aims to publicize the tourism information, promote tourism products, and etc. to the civilians for one week.

     With the promotion activity, Henan Tourism Administration Bureau issued some favourable policies and measures to get the promotion more effective.
