August 10 (the 7th day of the 7th lunar month in the Chinese calendar) is the traditional Chinese Qixi Festival, also known as the “Double Seventh Festival” or “Daughter’s Festival”, which comes from the romantic legend of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, symbolizing the promise of everlasting love. To mark the occasion, the Henan Museum’s Huaxia Ancient Music Orchestra held a special concert titled “Golden Wind and Jade Dew”—a Qixi Festival-themed ancient music listening session in the ancient music hall.

The concert opened with a poem recitation of “A Moon and Flower Night of The Spring River”, a piece noted for its beautiful melody and poetic expression of romantic sentiment. The performance continued with the singing of ancient poems such as “Jian Jia”, “Guan Ju”, and “Zi Jin”, which conveyed the ancient people's longing for love and happiness. The final piece, “Zhen Wei”, depicted the joyful gathering of young men and women by the riverside. The concert allowed the audience to experience the blend of classical and new tunes and the rich romantic sentiments of ancient culture, immersing them in a unique cultural atmosphere.
