During the 2025 Spring Festival to Lantern Festival period, the New Year Overseas Promotion event of Chinese Cultural products themed on "New Year Gifts, Celebrating Together" was enthusiastically held in over 113 countries and regions worldwide, including Washington D.C. of the United States, Dubai in the UAE, Nairobi in Kenya, Granada in Spain, and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

For this event, Henan Museum meticulously prepared and leveraged its profound cultural heritage to tell China stories in the new era through the horse-face skirts of "Huafu Laichao" series. These skirts ingeniously integrate neo-Chinese styles with ancient clothing and cultural relics, presenting the millennium eastern aesthetics to a global audience in a contemporary way.

The "Bubu Shenglian" (every step begets a lotus, the phrase refers to an elegant image) neo-Chinese horse-face skirt draws inspiration from the Lotus-Crane Square Pot collected by Henan Museum. It uses gold textile craftsmanship to weave subtle patterns on the skirt, depicting cranes standing on lotus flowers, symbolizing good fortune and blessings with every step. The "Luhua Yanying" (reed flowers and wild goose shadows) horse-face skirt is inspired by the Qing Dynasty artist Bian Shoumin's "Reed Geese Panoramic Screen", which employs silver gauze fabric and traditional printing techniques to recreate the painting, symbolizing peaceful and prosperous times. The "Sishen Naji" (four mythical creatures bring good fortune) horse-face skirt is inspired by the Western Han Dynasty's "Mural Painting of Four Supernatural Beings Surrounded by Clouds", which uses applied brocade craftsmanship and specialized dyeing techniques, symbolizing protection from all directions and enduring blessings.

Henan Museum emphasizes the deep integration of traditional culture with modern society, meeting the diverse needs of the public. In the future, it will continue to increase investment in cultural innovation and international communication and foster mutual cultural exchange and understanding.
