Southeast European Delegation Visits Henan Museum to Explore “The Making of China”

On the afternoon of August 6, a delegation of nine members from Southeast Europe visited the Henan Museum to witness the development of the Central Plains civilization and explore the deep historical significance of its artifacts.


North Macedonia MP Amar Mecinovikj described his visit to the Henan Museum with five words: “historical, ancient, profound, inspiring, and amazing.”
 During the visit, the Southeast European delegation was continually impressed by the extensive collection of rare treasures and felt the charm of the Central Plains culture. Adrian Georgiev, Desk Officer for the PRC, European Coordination and International Relations Directorate, Ministry of Agriculture, and Food of the Republic of Bulgaria, shared that despite visiting China many times, it was his first time in Henan. He praised the rich collection and scientific layout of the exhibition halls and expressed that the visit would enhance his understanding of Chinese culture.

04203f1e8e8b55b7af05b5a8f80fa55.jpgThe delegation also visited Madu Village, Huang Gang Miao Intangible Cultural Heritage Town, Shaolin Temple, Longmen Grottoes, and the Luoyang Peony Porcelain Museum, completing a diverse and unique exploration of Chinese culture in Henan, a region with profound historical and cultural roots.
