"Artifact Training Class of Peking University" openes in Henan Museum .

According to the staff training plan of Henan museum, through thorough communication and careful preparation with Institute of Archaeology and Museology of Peking University, the course opened on June 7, 2021. The opening ceremony was held at the Huaxia Ancient Music Hall of Henan Museum. 


Wan Jie, secretary of the Party Committee of Henan Museum made a speech. Xin Muxiang, vice president of Henan Museum, presided over the ceremony.

Ma Xiaolin, director of Henan Museum, first introduced the long-term cooperation between Institute of Archaeology and Museology of Peking University and Henan Museum on personnel training and its significance. Received much attention in museum development today, Henan Museum also entered the critical period of reform, development and process, the next step, both sides will continue to deepen cooperation and explore to establish joint laboratories, research station, etc. Relying on the collection resources and talent development advantage, with the power of the Institute of Archaeology Museology Peking University has promoted our research on museum construction. We will explore a new path of high-quality development. 


Zhao Chaohong, executive deputy president of the School of Archaeology, Institute of Archaeology and Museology, said that the "Artifact Training Course of Peking University Art and Artifact" will be lectured by 15 experts on site to provide professional and technical training for Henan Museum staff. In recent years, Peking University has maintained close cooperation with Henan Museum in the fields of deepening exhibition exchanges, cultural relic protection, scientific research projects and personnel training. 


These courses include jade, bronze, gold and silver, porcelain and many other disciplines.
