June 12 was the "Cultural and Natural Heritage Day", with the theme "Heritage Showed a Centennial Journey". Around this theme, the main event organized by several government agencies in Henan and hosted by the Henan Museum was successfully held. 

On the scene, 69 items of the "Excellent Exhibition to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China" and 35 outstanding narrators of revolutionary cultural relics, were honored by the government. With "Telling Good Red Story and Keeping on the Spirits Blood "as the theme, several government units organized and started "Talking Henan Red Cultural Relics "campaign. Facing the society, this campaign focused on the great course of Chinese revolution and moving story. 

In order to jointly build a digital art research center for cultural relics, enhance the level of digital display and utilization of the cultural heritage of Henan, Henan Provincial Administration of Cultural Relics signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Department of Cultural Relics and Museums of Fudan University. To focus on the centenary of the discovery of Yangshao Site and the centenary of the birth of modern Chinese archaeology, more than 30 radio and media organizations will be organized in October this year to cover the important archaeological discoveries in Henan and celebrate the centenary of the birth of modern Chinese archaeology, so as to tell the archaeological stories of Henan well. 

After the ceremony, the conference guests watched the "Witness•Red Central Plains – Characteristic Exhibition of Revolutionary Relics Reources of Henan Province" and other featured exhibitions. The exhibition systematically organized and displayed the achievements in the protection and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics’ resources. During the Heritage Day, this special exhibition will be exhibited in more than 20 museums and memorial halls in the province. 

In addition, more than 230 special thematic activities were organized throughout Henan to raise awareness of cultural heritage protection among all sectors of society.
