The annual meeting of the Cultural and Creative Professional Committee of the Museum Institute of Henan MIH was held in Nanyang Museum on May 18, 2021. Representatives were from all parts of the province. Such as: the cultural relics’bureaus, museums, colleges and universities and winners of Nanyang Cultural and Creative Design Competition attended the meeting. 

Zhao Le, Secretary General of Cultural and Creative Development Professional Committee of Museum Institute of Henan presided over the meeting. 

Wang Xiaojie, curator of Nanyang Museum, said in his welcome speech that Nanyang has a long history and profound culture, and the museum collection was rich in cultural relics, and the development of cultural and creative products has a great development prospect. In the next step, we should explore a new mechanism and management mode, design a batch of cultural and creative products with unique characteristics of Nanyang culture, strive to build the city culture brand of Nanyang, make the exhibition hall into the largest distribution center and exhibition area to display Nanyang cultural and creative products, and try to turn into an important window spreading Nanyang culture. 

Shi Ziqiang, member of Henan Museum Party Committee and chairman of the Trade Union, delivered a speech. He said that first of all I will give a warmest congratulation to Nanyang Museum being opened officially. 

And he said that Henan Museum as a top leading unit, we should have the responsibility and obligation to take the initiative bearing. We should also encourage and improve more museums being their public service capacity through the development of cultural and creative industries, enhance their popularity and influence, and reap both of social and economic benefits. We hoped that all the museums in the province could make full use of the platform of the Cultural and Creative Committee and actively communicate with each other to develop more cultural and creative products that better reflect the values of the times, so as to make our contributions to the building of a strong cultural province. 

Song Hua, secretary general of the Cultural and Creative Professional Committee of the Museum Institute of Henan made a summary 2020 and a work program 2021. 

 
Kaifeng Museum, Pingdingshan Museum and Nanyang Museum successively made speeches and had extensive exchanges on the creative and design aspects of cultural and creative products of their respective museums. 

At the annual meeting, the experts also awarded to cultural and creative design competition of the first "Jinke Cup" of Nanyang.
