The mediant dream piano competition of the distinguished pianist Liu Shikun held in Henan Museum in Zhengzhou Henan province on May 1. 2009. The competition is separated into two parts, the first competition and the final competition. They hold on May 1--2, and May 30--31, 2009 separately.

There are about 300 competitors took part this piano competition. The youngest one is an only four-year-old girl.

The competition has three groups. They are the infant group from 3 to 6 years old, the juvenile group from 6 to 18 years old and the youth group above 18 years old.

It is reported that, the winners are going to take part in the concert holding in the Art Center of Henan province on July 4, 2009. And they will luckily perform with the famous pianist Liu Shikun of China. Maybe they will go to play in German in an indefinite date. The winners will have a very good opportunity to exchange with the other selected  players from the world.
